This was a great buy. Came sharp and there where no bends or burrs on the blade. Only flaw that i noticed was the pommel had some side play.

Very nice sword with a major quality flaw.

I would have given it 5 stars. It is very well made a true battle ready sword. My big issue is their quality control. Near the base of the blade on the sword I received, was a major burr. About .75 of an inch long and 1.5mm deep. It looks likes someone accidentally swiped it with a grinder. This sword should have been taken out during the quality inspection and sold under a dent and scratch sale. I just wish I would have gotten it at a discounted price, or received an unblemished sword.

    First impressions of the vikingsword.

I choos to buy this sword after seen Skallagrims Review on it. The price was reasonable and i choos to buy it at the sale. 20% off for a sale is much considering the price overall.

I have not fully tested it. It is a good sword, balance, grip, quallity (for the pricerange) and looks great.

The only things that i have to say is that the corners of the pummel and the guard are not that smooth, they dig in to the hand a Little so id recommend gloves for longer use. Also the sharpening could have been a bit better, its not that easy to cus, but thrusting workes just fine.

The scabbard looks good and is made out of wood with leather overlay so it wont break. I hope that is. There is some White wax or glue in it so everytime you draw the sword there will be some on it. Just a bit enoying. And the belt that comes with it id for right handed people. I dont expect nothing els but for me as a lefthanded person its not the best.

Overall im pleased with the sword. Just a bit sharper, fix the scabbard issue and use gloves.
