Undeniably beautiful
I purchased the scratch and dent version, roughly June of 2024, although one would be hard pressed to differentiate between a "regular" one and the "s&d version". I've been collecting swords for years, mainly katanas and European swords, and have only been buying tantos and wakizashis for the past 8 months or so.Before the first tee box, I fully acknowledge a few things: 1, I will never be an expert. 2, This is a modern wakizashi, and not an antique with papers. 3, This hobby is arguably subjective, and you may think there are cooler/more beautiful/ more historically accurate examples out there. With these points established, for a modern blade and furniture, Ronin Katana hit the nail on the head, once again. Like everyone else on New Sword Day (which is the adult equivalent of what Christmas felt like when I was a young boy) I got it in my hand, and immediately inspected it, from Kojiri to Kashira, checking every inch in between. It obviously needed a good cleaning to rid the blade of the wax it is shipped with. Once cleaned, it is another flawless example of what Ronin Katana brings to the table. As always, prompt delivery, and satisfactory packaging. If you are looking for a wakizashi, this is a no brainer. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Rare Find!
It is actually become quite difficult to find a wakizashi with the correct length tsuka on the Internet nowadays. This was both a good find, and a good deal! High-quality product as usual.

Dojo Pro
This thing is very well made and sharp. It's a little wobbly but overall a great product.

Blade Collar All Scratched Up
This is a great sword. I prefer over the Katana. I've bought 2 Katana from here. One was "Scratch and Dent" and the other was a closeout. They both were in perfect condition. This Wakizashi which I paid full price and favorite had scratches all over the gold Blade Collar and it was not constructed well. I think they sent me an accidental Scratch and Dent. This was when mail was slowed down. Not sure if it was damaged because it took a couple weeks to arrive. I expect my sword to be in mint condition for full price.

Quality product
Solid craftsmanship and beautiful finish. A perfect accessory to the matching katana I also bought (referenced in product description). Exactly what I hoped, both in handling and weight. Lack of hamon is not a problem as they (the wakizashi and katana I bought) both look just as outstanding without it.
