I can't imagine being able to do any better for this price. An excellent entry point point into the world of functional swords.

Scabbard
The scabbard leves so.e kind of residue on the blade but other than that this and an amazing weapon and im definitely gonna buy another

Sword
Overall a really good sword, especially for its price. However. the pins are a big eyesore and the sheath was filled with a strange substance that adheres itself to the sword. The look and feel however aside from these are very satisfactory

Very nice
Got my katana a few days ago and I am very happy with this katana overall. The fit and finish are very nice. There are no gaps between the habaki, tsuba, and tsuka. Everything is tight fitting and nothing is lose. The hamon is beautiful and looks like gentle waves. The tsuba is beautifully crafted with nice detail. The ito is wrapped nice and tight, it feels great in the hand. My only complaint is the saya has scratched up the habaki which makes it look rough compared to the rest of the katana. I can polish it but it gets roughed back up when inserted into the saya. Honestly, I am really impressed with the quality of this katana for the price. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good battle ready katana that won't break the bank. I only gave it 4 stars because of the scratched up habaki, the rest of the katana is very nice.

CLAY TEMPERED KATANA MODEL #4
This is probably the most high quality katana I've seen at the $130 price point. The blade has a couple of bad spots or else I would have given a 5 rating. Shipping was super fast, I believe I received it in four days. Coupled with how happy I am with my Dojo Pro katana, I am possibly going to purchase one of their Elite-level katanas whenever they come out with another batch of those. So far, I'm very impressed with Ronin and their products.
