Samurai Sword Clay Tempered Katana Model #15

I had to round down to a 4/5, but I give this katana a 9/10. If you are not looking to spend more than $140, or are a beginner to cutting - then all that is left is to choose between this or the currently 14 other designs that they offer (the blade is the same on all of the $130 models) The customer support answered my questions very quickly. The fittings are all what you would expect (clearly mass produced but good designs) The habaki though, is really bad looking, and brings down the whole sword a lot. It makes easy work of water bottles, and pool noodles when your form is perfect.

OK allow me to start off by saying that it only took a couple days for the sword to arrive, but when it did it was the wrong sword. An honest mistake no big deal. However, it was a huge mistake on their part because I ordered the #15 entry level katana but they sent me the #15 dojo pro model which is worth 3 times as much money. Now let's be honest, just about anyone would have kept the sword that is worth way more than the one they paid for, but I did not. I notified them of the mistake and sent it off right away for my lesser sword. As a thank you for my honesty they sent me a matching tanto with my order free of charge, and the quality of the tanto is the same as the dojo pro, which is of terrific quality, by the way. I bought this katana for the express purpose of using it for practice only, have a higher grade katana already. I filed the edge off so it's safe to work on katas and general practice safely. It's weight and balance is very similar to my mat cutter. Very nice katana overall
