Scratch N Dent Dojo Pro 25
This is my first real sword. I am seeking training on the use and culture of the katana. The opportunity to get a well reviewed katana at about half price was irresistible. It arrived in a bit less than a week, well boxed an well packed. Box didn't rattle or thump. It had ste expect cosmoline and wax bits on the blade, cleaned easily with gun oil. Holy Cow, picking it up, drawing it, this sword feels like it was measured for me. Makes a nice slicing sound when moving it thru the air. The Tsuka is just the right size, solid. The whole construction is solid. The Says is capped with bone, top and bottom, all the mountings are solid. It's a Scratch N Dent, but I can find no obvious flaws. The Tsuba is solid, no movement, no flaws in the finish. I'll remove the Tsuka soon, and get a look inside. This far, this sword is solid. A friend is well practiced in Kendo, I'll work with him to learn the basics and any cultural bits he has to share. This sword was a heck of a good buy. I can't find any flaws. I have a Wakizashi coming soon. Looking forward to it like a kid on Christmas Eve. Just can't get this smile off my face.

Dojo Pro #25
Wasn't sure what I would get with the scratch and dent sale. Took a chance because I had read good things about the Dojo Pro line. The blade and handle are like new. The only issues were some scratches on the bottom of the Saya and a frayed cord on the Saya. It was a great purchase for the money. I love this sword. Have done some cutting with it and it is tough as nails. Great buy. Will consider more from Ronin Katana.

Amazing for the $$$
Beautiful piece. Don't even have to add "for the money."

Scratch and Dent Dojo Pro #25
Nice sword over all, everything is tight and well put together. The sword looks great. I am dissapointed though in the ability to cut. The description says it will have minor flaws that wont affect cutting but they do. Just behind the tip the blade has been completely blunted and isnt sharp at all. Also from the habaki about 4 to 5 inches upward is also the same but is blunted even worse. disappointing for sure, but I guess it was a risk. I will not try my luck at scratch and dent again.

SCRATCH AND DENT DOJO PRO LEVEL SAMURAI SWORD #25
Absolutely worth it. There was only a small scratch on the tsuba and the saya is a little loose. Both I can easily fix. Very happy. Coming back

Nice sword
This sword is pretty nice. The fit and finish is pretty perfect. There are a few blemishes but for the price I'm willing to overlook them.

Excellent blade for the price
This is a fantastic katana overall. All lines are crisp and clean, the geometry of the blade is consistent and symmetrical and the balance is at the sweet spot where maneuverability and agility is good but there is still authority in the cut. Further, the attention to detail in the koshirae is impressive. I am surprised this was even considered a scratch and dent item. The oly issue the blade has was a very light spot of rust, which was immediately removed with one passing of autosol polish on a paper towel.
