Dojo pro scratch? Dent?
Think yall screwed up and pulled from new stock by mistake. There wasn't anything wrong with this sword. Blade is nice and thick in all the right places.

Nice price point for the blade
This is my second blade I ordered from Ronin Katana and I want to order another in the future. For a scratch and dent, the value is amazing as the only blemish I noticed was a couple ornamental figures missing that doesn't affect the reliability of the blade.

great
"Scratch & Dent" - it has neither, just a tiny bit of discoloration on the backside of the sword. Mainly for home decor, some training. Great deal, ould buy from again, fast ship!

Scratch & Dent Samurai #29
First, the price. At almost 50% off the regular price, you should make a lot of allowances for any dents or scratches. This is my first time buying a Scratch and Dent from Ronin so I didn't know what to expect - but at this price I couldn't pass it up. Second, the "Scratches and Dents". I spent a solid 2 hours trying to find a truly discernible Scratch or Dent. At first I thought it was the grind on the kissaki, but I dismissed that as just a burr from sharpening. Then I spent 15 minutes running my fingers along the sides of the blade and felt a very slight waver in the blade. Taking out my mic, I found a slight variation in thickness. I found my "dent". If this wasn't sold as a Scratch & Dent, I probably would have never found it. Conclusion. I ended up ordering three (3) more to see if they were all this good. Spoiler alert - they're ALL wonderful. Best $700 I've spent.

Sword
More than I would have expected. The sword for me was perfection. Great value for my money and gives me a sense of comfort in case of a need. I will do business again.

#29 scratch & dent
I see no scratch or dents. Only a minuscule spot on the blade that could be polished out but I am choosing to not play with the finish unless absolutely necessary in which it isn’t at the moment. This is my first real Katana. I haven’t sliced, chopped or cut anything yet but I’m determined to once I feel educated and comfortable enough to do so. Meantime I just oil my blade every few days and while handling it, admire it while holding it in my hands. It is an absolute work of art. Everything is tight, clean and beautiful. I have no regrets about the purchase especially after paying a little over half the regular MSRP. Get it while you can!
