    First katana. The sword is in great shape other than a couple of small nicks on the tsuba. Also, the saya did leave a lot of wax(?) residue on the blade but that's getting better with more draws. Really cool sword, already considering purchasing another model before this years scratch and dent sale is over.

    Fit and Finish - Not Cut w/ Yet

    I think overall for a scratch and dent sale, this blade is pretty good. Blade looks to be in good shape. Minor scratches near the habaki. Habaki, Tsuba and Ito all tight. There were wood clippings from the drilling of the menuki peg. It is not a full samegawa wrap (thats how it was advertised and you can see that). But overall, without cutting yet, I think this was a great buy. Thanks Ronin!

    Clay tempered Katana #14

    Beautiful sword. Bought through scratch and dent sale. Only flaw I noticed was some dark stains on white wrapping. Blade looks amazing.
