Very clean lines straight as a arrow fit and finish was outstanding very happy with how fast shipping was my first katana but think I might need a elite seeing how nice the dojo pro is ronin is the only place to get real katanas

I've only had the weapon for a few days but I feel I got exactly what I was told i'd get. Nothing is loose. No damage. Blade looked great. Less wax in the saya than I read there would be so they must listen tot heir customers who have complained. I have never ordered a quality Katana before but this one seems as good as all the reviews ive watched and read. $v$ if there is better I couldnt find it. I gave 5 starts because build quality is good, I got what I was told i would get and a day early at that.

I was very surprised at the quality and durability at this price point, plus really like the all black. This as I would imagine all of the Dojo pro line, is of high quality material where it matters. Perfect for Dojo use and very well balanced. What surprise me the most was the quality of the blade after intensive use on Tameshigiri in class. Cuts clean and strong.

This model is simplistic utilitarian beauty with just the right amount of style. The black silk/rayskin handle is well-done and tight. The blackened iron tsuba/guard is a crescent-moon with clouds theme which is highly Shinobi-oriented. This along with the sturdy monosteel torso-cutter style blade creates a katana any Master Ninja would be proud to own. The gloss black saya is very sleek as well. My only complaint is that I noticed a small gap of rayskin missing near the endcap/kashira where I can see underneath a bit. Otherwise, this is a quality weapon of style and function The balance feels great, and it's a joy to handle.

I purchased this Katana in July during the monthly sale and I have to say it was an amazing purchase! It feels more expensive than what is being spent. The build quality is better than expected! The only thing I dislike about this sword is the handle material. It appears to be a kind of plastic. However it's durable and comfortable. And with the hand wrapping it is not noticeable. Overall, I'm very pleased with this Katana and in the future I may splurge on Ronin's higher price point swords. 5/5 You get more than what you pay for!

Tight fittings, iron tsuba, tight wrapping, and looks simple and beautiful. The monosteel blade is very tough, and holds its edge well. A great buy for the price!

The reviews you read that tear this Dojo Pro apart are very inaccurate, I can't believe it was made in China, it's a 90 percent flawless sword, all fittings and wrap are tight, I cannot believe the blade on this slicing machine for the price, it's magnificent, puts most other if not all others to shame. THANKS RONIN!!!! 7-8-2015
