Dojo pro #31
I recently just got this sword for $300 and it was definitely worth the money. My only problem is that the swords blade is a little bit longer than i thought it would be (33 in). But thats totally my fault for not looking at the specs of the sword. So if you are taller person or just want the reach advantage, this sword would be perfect for you. But other than that, im in love with it, and i actually want to buy another (Shorter) sword from ronin sometime soon, (especially after seeing the quality of this one) to compliment it.

minimalist and tough - katana if you want the reach advantage
The Dojo Pro Katana Model #31, like the #12 I also have, is a value-oriented mid-range product focused on being as functional as possible for the price. The blade is excellent in terms of quality, balance, sharpness, niku and very tough. The bo hi makes the blade noticeably lighter and has a satisfying tachi kaze - sound of the air being cut. Despite the significantly longer blade, its balance means it's weight in hand is comparable to a standard length modern katana that has no hi (i.e. one without bo hi). The koshirae are basic and plain, with limited decorative details, but not at all bad. It's comfortable to draw and hold. The ito wrap is very well done. Unlike the #12 I have, this #31's saya is imperfect, but it's not apparent until you try to draw. This saya came too tight for the habaki. I was not able to loosen it with just my thumb. In fact, I had to hold the saya in my left, the tsuka in my right and apply considerable force to separate them. Fortunately, fixing a tight saya is pretty simple, but it's the only reason this didn't get 5 stars from me, as this is now my favorite sword by far.

DOJO PRO KATANA MODEL #31 MUSASHI O-KATANA
Overall this is pretty nice. The construction is solid, it's got a sharp edge, and the detail on the handle and tsuba are good. I also like the sheath that comes with, it's got a solid build.

Unbelievable sword...
I am so happy I purchased this o katana. Even though it is bigger it still feels great and nimble. The tachikaze is the best of any swords I have tried. I highly recommend this one! And the customer service at Ronin Katana is as good as the swords, amazing!

RK Dojo Pro O Kaatana #31
Sword was shipped fast and arrived in very good condition. All the fittings were well made and put together in a very good, tight fit, For a long blade the handling was superb, feeling as light and maneuverable as a shorter katana. I am very glad that i chose RK instead of the other manufacturer whose blades 'handles like a crowbar, cuts like a laser beam.' ( I owned one before) The difference is in the handling and feel of the sword. This O katana is a WINNER....

I received a winner
Very nicely made. Tight wrap, good saya fit, and cuts paper. Blade geometry looks good. Fittings are very nice. Love the musashi tsuka. I feel like I got a good deal, getting this on sale. Thank you!
