Dojo Pro Tsuba #12

I have no doubts about the quality but I would just like to mention how cool it is that this is based of of the sword of the famous samurai ronin miyamoto musashi the author of the dokodo and the book of five rings he was know as one of if not the best swordsman japan and perhaps the world would ever see. I think its easy to see how cool that is

Musashi had it right; the simple, double-c style Tsuba is the way to go. It's a bit smaller in diameter than other Tsuba I've had, but that in no way is a disparagement. This particular piece saves on weight without sacrificing stability and durability, and all you lose in the process is a bit of flash you might find in engraved or painted Tsuba. Personally though, I find this simple piece aesthetically pleasing in its own way.
