    Best Shirasaya on the Market!

Posted by Steven Osgood on Apr 3rd 2017

Like the headline says, BEST Shirasaya out there hands down! I've waited YEARS (20+) to buy one cause out on the interwebs there's nothing but junk.....or at the complete opposite end of the spectrum, you pay BIG $$$ for an overpriced blade mounted on crap wood. Ronin nailed it on the first try! Next project, buying an Elite Shirasaya!

    beautiful sword

Posted by Jason on Dec 6th 2016

Amazing product from an outstanding company. The customer care that was given to me is the best I've ever had. And the sword is an incredible piece of work. I've had through hardened swords before but this one is the best I've owned. Razor sharp and tough. The wood grain on the sheath and handle are gorgeous. The only thing I don't like is the grip. That's only because I like a traditional style handle which I will be ordering soon. But quality and customer service like this is why I continue to by Ronin.

    Bare blade Shirasaya

Posted by Tom Moss on Oct 13th 2016

This Shirasaya appears to be solidly built. There are 3 things I think should be addressed though. The Habaki is definately loose. The saya and the Tsuka don't match as far as a perfect transition from one to the other, also there was a small split in the saya(glueable). For the price though it is a bargain and the things I found do not detract from the price.I would purchase again without hesitation.

    1060 bare blade katana

Posted by Ray Blundell on Feb 9th 2016

I recently purchased one of these, and very pleased with the katana. I have cut mats and various water bottles with out any problem. For the price it is a real good deal. Other brands with a good blade on this type of katana are a lot more in price. I onlt cut traditional targets like mats ,watter bottles or bamboo,no trees, bricks, pvc pipie !!! only what the katana in made to cut..I feel this is the best deal on this type of katana out there on market now!I'am fan of ronin I have four other ronin katanas and five of the euperion swords.Happy and safe cutting,.Ray Blundell
