Scratch and Dent Dojo Pro Level Samurai Sword #14

This is my 4th Dojo-pro. I have a Model #31 O-katana, a Model #10 Ko-katana and a model #22 Ko-katana that matches this model #14. All four are beautiful, rugged and perfectly functional. The #31 was my 1st and it's a wicked cutter. The Ko-katana are excellent cutters and loads of fun because they're so light and fast. The Ko-katana seem to be the ones that most people want to cut with after trying all three blade lengths. For me though, the #31 seems damn near perfect. With all of that said, I have to talk about the Model #14... nothing is perfect but I'll be damned if I can find a flaw! I wish it had a bohi, but that's an esthetic thing and has no bearing on the quality of this fine sword. As good as the others are, and they're very good, this on has that "just right" feel to it. It moves precisely where I want it exactly when I tell it to. I"m 6' tall and medium build and this katana feels perfect for me. It's my "Goldilocks" sword. Everything about it fits. Weight, POB, blade length... I can't imagine a more natural feeling sword. It gives me a particular level of confidence and it's pleasing to move with. I don't know if I'll find anything that suits me more than this one, but I intend to find out. These are honest, hard use tools that still manage to carry more than a little bit of class. If there's one thing that Ronin Katana does better than swords, it's customer service. I always have to mention the professional, courteous, knowledgeable staff at Ronin Katana. Every purchase is special and they'll answer the dumbest, most long winded string of questions imaginable with an enthusiasm and friendliness you don't see much these days. I'll be purchasing more in the very near future. While I love all four of my Dojo-pros, this one would get my recommendation if you could only have one. I can't praise it enough.

Beautiful saya, blade looks great and is sharp. The extra length is just right. Can’t beat this price, especially for very little flaws almost not noticeable. Would definitely buy again

Fast shipping. I have a non scratch and dent version I bought years ago of this same model. I wanted one that I could abuse . Only thing I can find on this one is maybe the blade is a touch thinner in thickness. Is that possibly the reason for the discount? Regardless, it's a solid deal and a great sword.

I'd been looking at this Katana for quite some time. I practice with European swords at 36" to 41" blades and liked this longer 30" model. I received my sword in about a week. It's S&D model, but for the life of me I can't find anything wrong with it except a very slight difference where the Yokote ends. everything else is perfect, beautiful blade, everything is tight , the Tsuka is nicely wrapped and could find nothing wrong with the Saya. Only disappointment is I haven't had a chance to cut with it yet.

Scratch and dent sale is a wonderful thing, does not matter if you practice AI, or you want a katana just for fun an admire for (SHTF) scenarios, ronin has the best Katanas out there for the money! And if you can pick up a dojo #14 do it that 30” blade is amazing, a little heavy but it’s because the chunk of steel that you have will last forever and it will stand a beating, extremely sharp out the box, perfecto for cutting right away, no blade play, no sheath play, no scratches and dents !!!! Simply a good sword for an amazing price, pull the trigger !! Thank me later

Dojo Pro #14 with its 30" blade and solid construction has proven to be 2 hands worth of insane chopping power. The mild weight increase is enough to put the blade through more mass targets like wet newspaper with a lot less effort.

I got to take this around the yard when it arrived and go thru some motions. I see why many reviewers love the feel of #14, it demands your attention with both hands doesn't let go. The scratch and dent model I ordered was in 9.5/10 condition This is my first Dojo Pro and it matches all online reviews as far as hand feel and build quality. Cosmetically the red effect lends well to the sword and functionality wise its quite elegant for what many call a backyard basher. Very much a good choice for sub 350 dollar range.

This blade is special. I love it particularly. It speaks to me. It is alive and I can feel There's something speciale. The fittings, the powerful blade, the ergonomic. It's alive and speaks to me.

Great sword as usual from Ronin. Scratch and dent is not very noticeable and is irrelevant with regard to swords performance.
