    Amazing condition

Posted by Eric on Feb 12th 2025

This is the 4th sword I've purchased from the scratch and dent sale and as usual, it doesn't disappoint. This one had even less condition issues than the others I have purchased. No blemishes, no moderate scratches, nothing. The blade has a slight lean/curve to it that is roughly 1/2 inch from hilt to tip and the end cap on the scabbard isn't seated flush but it is secure. Those are the only things I could find that could put this into the S&D sale. RK must have some serious quality standards for this to not make their normal inventory. Extremely happy with my purchase.

    Euro Model #12 Viking Sword

The blade profile is different than it appears in the photos, but that's not a real concern. I've seen some complaints about Viking style pommel, but if I use a proper grip it's not an issue at all. Once you get the hang of it, it starts to feel very natural and you realize how much control you have with the blade. I specifically chose the #12 because of the shorter blade and I'm not disappointed. It's perfect. It was instantly a favorite with several of my friends. It's a great weight and length and it's comfortable to use and carry. If I had to carry an EDC sword, this one would be close to the top of my list. This is just an attractive, fun little sword. I don't usually buy duplicate swords, but I'm just about to talk myself into buying a second model #12! If you're thinking about it but you aren't sure, get off the fence and buy one. You'll always get your money's worth at Ronin Katana, and this as a particularly fun little sword!
