Tanto dojo pro #2
Was very happy with tanto. Bought a scratch and dent version and the only things I could find was a tiny bit of paint wore off of the Tsuba, a minor scuff on the Habaki that looked like it was just from the Saya being tight which would have eventually been like that anyways from being pulled in and out. And the tiniest little dent that I had to really look hard to find on the Saya. Other than that the blade was in perfect condition and the fittings were all tight and secure. Def happy with the purchase esp for the money. Would buy again for sure.

Scratch and dent tanto
Great condition. I see no issues. Blade is flawless saya excellent. Maybe a peg a bit long in handle, compared to my Dojo Pro katana.. ? I love it. Second purchase from Ronin. Next up a wakizashi. I would not hesitate to buy a scratch and dent again.

Awesome blade
I bought the scratch and dent model and still haven't found any flaws. Very sharp, awesome tanto. I will (probably) buy again from ronin katana.

1060 Tanto #2 Scratch and Dent
I was expecting some cosmetic damage but as far as I can tell there’s no damage/noticeably bad build quality anywhere. The only “issue” I can see is that the habaki is getting what I believe is black paint from the inside of the saya upon sheathing and unsheathing due to some sticky substance on the habaki. But it wipes right off and I’m going to probably clean and polish it to remedy that. Other than that build quality seems very good and I’m happy with the purchase.

Dojo pro tanto #2 scratch & dent
I only found a very small burr on the kissaki from sharpening and a barely visible paint blemish on the very bottom of the saya. One pass on a fine honing stone and the burr was gone. You can't beat the value/ quality for price with the scratch and dent sale.

Scratch and Dent Pro Tanto #2
I chose the scratch and dent model just to get a blade for beginning use and felt scratches and dings. After receiving, cleaning and carefully going over the blade and handle, I have yet to find any blemish. Well made product!

Scratch and dent Tanto
I honestly could not find a blemish in it. It required a professional quality control person to locate a 1/32nd of an inch hair thick scratch
