The sword is the soul of the Samurai. In Japanese the word for sword is katana. Ronin Katana based all of the katana in the dojo pro line on historical katana used by the Samurai throughout their history. The tsuba are all copies of surviving antiques.

With 10's of thousands sold around the world, the Ronin dojo pro has become one of the most purchased sword lines ever made. Great!
Ordered a scratch and dent version for $210 shipped. The saya is tight but not to the point of affecting use. Everything else is perfect. I am astounded it was listed as scratch and dent. Blade is sharp and straight with a beautiful polish. Fittings are perfect. Tsuka has tight wrapping on it and the menuki look great. The sword is absolutely a perfect specimen.

Dojo Pro 13
The customer service is excellent. I ordered two swords and they shipping together lightning fast. Upon arrival every was as expected. Blade is straight and all the fittings are tight. The saya fit was slightly looser than I would like but still perfectly serviceable.

Excellent product. I have high expectations for tameshigiri.
The product is of excellent quality: a well-finished and sharp blade (I'm looking forward to practicing tameshigiri), a well-knit Tsuka-ito and a very firm kashira. In fact, all parts are well adjusted and fastened (habaki, tsuba, fuchi, tsuka, kashira). The buffalo horn finish of the kurigata, koigushi and kojiri gives the saya a sophisticated highlight. There is a small imperfection in the edge of the blade near the habaki, but I guess it is nothing that affects the functionality of the product and cannot be worked on. It was expected to be heavier than my iaito, but the point of balance closer to the tsuba makes the weight difference almost imperceptible (iaito PoB 15cm versus Ronin Katana Model #13 PoB 11cm). The product was delivered before the promised deadline and was very well packaged. Congratulations for your produts Ronin Katana!

Good product
For about $300, I would recommend a Ronin Katana for basic cutting, so, you do not mess up a $2,000 to $5,000 katana. If you practice iaido, kenjutsu or iaijutsu and are looking for a sharp sword for practicing technique; then, I would not recommend this sword, because the blade is a little tip heavy. And, this can make one hand technique difficult to control. However, if you have an iaito and an expensive well balance shinken; and, you want want a practical cutter to cut tatami, small branches and water bottles; then, Ronin Katana is a good choice. For me, I think a ko katana would have been a better choice, since I already have another shinken. But, I am happy with my Ronin Katana, model 13. I was not looking for anything fancy - I just wanted an affordable practical cutter that was strong. I love the saya, for me it is well made. And, the fittings are strong. As for the ito on the tsuska, it’s fine. Again, the sword is practical and $300. Not bad at all. If you want something lighter, maybe a ko katana from Ronin will fit your needs. Please be careful and treat the sword with respect, it is like fire.

Great Sword!
Very strongly built. Solid and thick blade, sharp as a tack too. Definitely an heirloom sword as I will assuredly be giving this to my children. Customer service was okay, they did not respond to an email about some details of the forge but they did however give me a tracking number very quickly. Overall, well pleased.

Love It
It came in perfect condition. Handle feels good aswell as the ito. Saya came with no scratches therefore I say 10/10.

Nice esthetics
Well fitted and tight Only complaint is that 1" from the Habaki is dull and i can sharpen it myself but for 300$ I think it should be completed not a diy project
