Scratch & Dent Dojo Pro Katana Model #24

Posted by Joe on Oct 24th 2024

I gave it a 4 do to the sageo cord being frayed on the saya. C'mon I am really nit picking that is how nice the katana is, nice a tight fittings, everything is as it should be. I think that this katana will meet most every ones needs by the quality of this blade! I am sure that this blade will stand up to the things you would put it through with in reason. This is a faithful reproduction of Katana craftsmanship. While it may not be a blade from Japan, it is more than satisfactory for my small investment. Other Reviewers do a pretty good job on the quality of production. Would I buy it again YES. well a different model of the dojo pro line just for the different tsuba they have on them, for the simple reason as to keeping everything tight once you start taking them apart, they then start to rattle and everything else

    Dojo Pro Katana Model #24

The Katana arrive promptly. It was in a protective cardboard box. The Katana itself came in a very nice bag, well secured by bracing Styrofoam in its own display container. The worksmenship is flawless. The blade is far superior than I imagined. Well balanced and without a doubt "battle ready". I am very pleased with this weapon. If the Zombie Apocalypse befalls us, I am confident that many of the creatures will meet their demise by the quality of this blade! More importantly, I am confident that I can return to my training regimen from my youth without fear of this blade not standing up to the trials. This is a faithful reproduction of Katana craftsmanship. While not the "real deal" (as I have experience with that) it is more than satisfactory for my investment. Other Reviews go into precise detail on the quality of production. I can readily attest to their fine evaluation of the Katana. I see no need to repeat what they have said so well. Other than to say that they are correct to the finest detail. Also that this particular Katana is more than what I had hoped for. Now, excuse me as I paruse their catalog for my next purchase. I have a bare spot on my wall that requires filling.

    Dojo Pro Katana #24

I am quite pleased with my purchase. I ordered it Sunday, it shipped Monday, and it was in my hands Wednesday. The sword itself feels good in my hands. I’m not a backyard cutter (yet) but reviews of these swords give me confidence in its capabilities. I’d recommend these katanas. I was so pleased I bought another product, a Viking sword!

    Big bang for the buck!

Just received the sword, so cannot say too much about cutting characteristics, but Katana handles really nice, bit nose-heavy which is great for cutting. Still easy and fast handling! Saya fits perfect, buffalo horn looks very nice, all fittings supertight, no rattling or loose parts, very nice and tight Tsukamaki, the diamonds on my sword are accurate and the Same looks also very nice, big bubbles and one piece. I can suggest this Katana to everyone without any issues!
