Very nice sword. Has proven devastating to water bottles, pool noodles, and a couple of errant tree limbs. Seems to be a very nice and well made product.

    Awesome #8

I have abused this poor sword for the last three + years and it's still going strong. It cuts through 1.5'' tree branches pretty effortlessly if you get your technique right. This is a well built sword with a really sharp edge and purposeful balance. On the downside, the tsuba has a lot of sharp edges and the polish on the blade wasn't as good as my first katana ($95.00).

    My 1st Katana

Posted by Justin on Jul 23rd 2015

This is the first katana I have ever purchased. I've been looking online for quite sometime and have been trying to pinpoint and ensure I get a high quality, genuine katana. I am very happy with this purchase and looks even better in person. The grip feels and forms perfectly to my hands and the blade feels light. The only thing I personally didn't like was the glossiness of the sheath. I personally prefer a matte look. Overall, this blade was an excellent purchase. I hope to buy another one soon. Cheers
