    Scabbard

    Posted by D on Apr 20th 2026

Incredibly good tanto very high quality build especially for the price point but the scabbard was a bit loose and sloppy, This is the scratch and dent so I expected it some wear but there wasn't any wear on the tanto itself just a sloppy scabbard other than that, I'm very satisfied with it

    Tanto #4 Blem

    Posted by w b on Jun 29th 2024

The good is this is an amazing price for any similar knife and included actual fittings ie menuki. For me though, after receiving it I would rather have spent the extra $20 or so and purchased a non blem. On mine the bohi are unequal by ~1cm, the soebi on one side is crooked and the tip was slightly rounded from the grind. Fittings and saya were loose but expected. Overall solid, great for a beater and for $60 shipped I can't complain too much but my opinion is to just spend for a non blem.

    Best tanto for the price

Even though purchased for 75% off with scratch/dent. Only one singular 2mm scratch found on both of my models I purchased, more than worth the money and other than a loose Saya which was remedied quickly with some spacers
