Basic chinese made
Its not terrible but as someone who has owned actual rail steel modern non traditional Japanese blades (made in Japan) the fittings are just ok looking. The geometry of the blade can use some hand finishing. I see no evidence of heat differential treatment but what do you expect when you buy a scratch and dent chinese mass produced replica of a japanese sword. It IS sharp and i am sure you can cut sticks, rolled mats or a head off with it. I will buy more from this website. I did not realize the mass produced steel blade market had exploded with cheaply priced swords which really opens up the ability for a iaido / tameshigiri. I can go in with very fine abrasives and clean the belt sander marks & refine things which can be fun for a person looking for a hobby.

Dojo Pro Wakizashi #3 SaD
Purchased scratch and dent to complete Daisho with DP#12. Very sharp and no real visual or structural flaws that I could find.

SCRATCH AND DENT DOJO PRO WAKIZASHI MODEL #3
For the value you get what you are paying for. The size and feel of it is good overall. It is sharp enough to cut for general use and it looks good overall. Problems: Saya rattle and I feel movement in the handle. I purchased another scratch and dent model with the same issue. The blade is definitely secured but I think the samegawa panels around the handle block are shifting. Super minor scratches as well. No damage on the blade.
