DOJO PRO 1060 STEEL TANT #2
$65.00 - worth not a penny more . Sharp and decent looking . Saya was very loose , but was an easy fix. Blade chipped ( blemish)on spine near the habaki. Not bad but not very good either.

Tanto
Very sharp , beautifully made , and relatively cheap , this was my third piece from Ronin and each one of them been very well made. Not a sword expert here by any means

Tanto #2
Initial impression at unboxing is that I pretty much agree with all the good stuff everybody else said. The chief complaint that some seem to have is that the SAYA is a bit loose in some cases, but I did not find that to be so in this case. Turned it upside down and gave it a little wiggle and repeatedly tilted it down at a 45° angle (to simulate bending over) and it stayed in just fine. Sure, being a heavy blade that is held in by gravity and a little friction I could eventually make it fall out, but, for now anyway, it's not going to slip out through routine, incidental movements. I also think the business end of this knife, for a knife (technically I think it's classified as a short sword), at 9 inches is very sufficient. Especially if I was a Samurai carrying a Katana and a Wakizashi as well. Although if I was said Samurai and found myself in a Kill Bill type situation, where I had to fight off others that had Katana or Wakizashi and the only weapon I had was a Tanto, then I would want one of those other models with the extra 2 inches on the blade. But as a knife knife...good enough.

DOJO PRO TANTO #2
I ordered this item on sale and I am very happy. Everything is tight fitting and the blade is sharp. This is my second product I also own a DOJO PRO KATANA. I will be ordering a wakizashi as well.

Very good quaility
Was skeptical at first because people were talking about how loose the saya was but when i recieved mine i was shocked at how tight it fit, must just be a quality control issue but there is a chance you can get a really good one.

Overall
I mean, you get what you pay for, I got what I expected. I would recommend this for the price but you you have the money to spend, go for the higher end items

Let down unfortunately
I bought 2 of these Tanto's. The craftsmanship is quite good, and the Tsuka is tied wonderfully on both. However, I do have a big complaint. One of the Saya's does not fit correctly. When held upside down all it takes is a very slight wiggle of the hand and the Saya falls to the ground right away. The Saya on the first Tanto is much better and doesn't fall off nearly as quickly. Other than that, I have no complaints. Great craftsmanship, fair price. If the Saya was better fitting I would give these a 10/10. Unfortunately I can only focus on the misfitting Saya :(
