    Dojo pro Tanto #2

The Ronin Katana Tanto is worth the price for $65. The design is simple and elegant, the steel is adequate quality and will last a lifetime with proper care. Only complaint is that the scabbard does not fit snugly, it is too loose, it falls easily to the floor when held upside down. This may vary from product to product, overall I highly recommend Ronin Katana products.

    Looks pretty good

Its my first knife, it looks pretty solid. The handguard tilts a little forward and back, one brass piece for the wrapping is loose and the tip bent striking a watermelon.

I bought the Dojo Pro Tanto #1 and 2 and they are both well made. Nice clean fittings, tight wraps, and both sharp. Both are a little lose in the Saya but for $65 you can’t beat this deal

    Tanto 1060 #2 Katana

Posted by Pedro Sanchez Alvarez on Feb 15th 2020

The katana is beautiful but I thougt it was made in Japan and would be engraved with some kind of "symbol" or signature of the maker. So I feel a little disappointed that is made in China and not Japan

Dojo Pro 1060 Steel Tanto #2

First off, let me say that I'am no expert on Japanese swords. The Tanto #2 is a well made knife. No looseness, no rattle in the shealth. Seems to be put together quite well. I purchased this item to go with the previous sword I purchased from Ronin Katana. I'am quite satisfied.

This is one of the nicest Tantos that you can get in this price range. Everything on the one that I received was perfect. Nice & tight and no looseness or rattling. Customer service from Ronin was outstanding, shipped fast and well packed.Glad that I got the opportunity to purchase this one.

    1060 Tanto 2

Posted by Rodney Eldridge on Sep 10th 2019

My initial reaction is that this tango is beautifully made and very sturdy. Nothing moves or rattles and it fits well in the saya. I wanted to disassemble it to give a good polishing to the blade. When I removed the tsuka the cap came off. It wasn't secured in any way. But I then realized the seppa and tsuba appear to have been epoxied in place. I could not remove them even by tapping with a wooden mallet. This was disappointing because it prevents me working on the blade as I had hoped. It cam kitchen knife sharp but not razor sharp. I put a better edge on it using my water stones. I do love it though. I'm sure I will purchase other items from Ronin. The quality and affordability can't be beat.
