Incredible quality
I was shocked when this sword came in. I cannot find a single blemish on it anywhere. Not on the scabbard, blade, guard, pommel, etc... Apart from a slight curve (roughly 1/2 inch) from hilt to tip toward one side, I cant find anything wrong with it. No twist to the blade, no major warping, no rust, no chips or deep scratches, everything is tight. Just fantastic. I am going to have to order a regular priced sword one of these days to see just how detailed the quality control must be if what I got was considered scratch and dent. Amazing.

The euro model #9 is a very nice sword
This is my third European sword and my first Arming Sword. It's unique in my collection, being my only double edge, single hand sword. It took me a little longer than usual to get the hang of it but once I did my confidence with it grew pretty fast. I'm really enjoying it and how different it feels compared to my Japanese swords. I got the S&D version but there's nothing I can find on the sword that would upset me on a full price sword. I've bought quite a few Scratch and Dent swords from Ronin Katana and the value for the money is unbelievable.
