    Absolutely worth the price!

I had initially bought a non scratch, and dent crusader from a distributor not RK. I was not happy with the quality of the construction of the sword, as well as the condition of the blade. I decided to try out a scratch and dent model to compare. To my surprise the scratch and dent I was sent from Ronin Katana was not only assembled better, it had less scratches dents, and better overall quality. It seems that the previous model 13 I purchased has more flaws. In comparison the 1st one I bought from different source had a badly misaligned pommel, excess epoxy on the cross guard, and was not as nicely polished. I was amazed with my impulse decision to buy the scratch and dent sword was a much better choice. The SD I received had only minor issues compared to the one at full price. This to me is a testament to RK’s quality control standards. Overall I am very please with this outcome, and will only purchase swords Ronin Katana’s swords from them directly. Shipping was quick, updates were frequent, and I do not regret getting a 200 dollar discount for a better sword. Now if only they had some of the scratch and dent euro model 3, or 1. I would buy more.

For a scratch and dent, it has minimal scratches and/or dents. I honestly had to look hard to find any. Beautiful sword. Not as sharp as I'd like but more than worth the price. Hard to beat.

Ronin Katana is simply the best blade for the money. The crusader is very lively and not at all heavy it will be a great cutter.

    Euro #13, Scratch and Dent

For a “scratch and dent” model, this thing is near flawless. I seriously struggled to locate anything I’d consider a flaw. Ronin’s QC is either incredibly strict, or I was sent a brand new sword. Regardless, I will be doing more business with Robin in the near future. As for the sword itself: incredibly balanced, solid construction, clean lines, and perfect in the hand, and to the eye. What an incredible value.
