    Badass Sword

Posted by Butters on Jun 16th 2024

I got this on a whim for my buddy as a wedding/housewarming gift and he loves it. Completely usable and very pretty, nicely polished and I got a hundred bucks off because it was on the scratch and dent sale. just had some minor surface scratches on the crossguard which were easily buffed out. Thank you all @ Ronin Katana for making affordable, stylish, and high quality blades. God speed friends!

    My second S/D Roninkatana sword

Posted by Zach on Feb 27th 2024

I've ordered a few other scratch and dent swords from Ronin, and they've all been pretty great. Very little defect, all easily polished out. This sword was no different, and it looks as good as new. The sword itself feels very nimble, with good point control. The fit and finish is good enough, although if I had paid full price I might be a little more picky. At scratch and dent prices, I'm prefectly happy. On a side note, I will say that on with the other sword I've bought from here (The #1, of which I've bought three), the blades are not all ground consistently. To calrify, they are symmetrical and well ground, but they can be pretty dissimilar to each other in terms of blade measurements. For example, one of the blades is signifigantly wider than the others, and has narrower fullers. I'm not too bothered by this, just a note. And I'm not sure if that applies to other models, and if that's a feature only of S/D swords. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend getting a S/D sword over the regular priced ones if you're willing to spend 10 minutes polishing a blade.

Euro #5 hand and half long sword

    Posted by Bizzle283 on Sep 23rd 2023

Sword is beautiful a few minor scratches on the blade that are only visable upon very close inspection. The blade is sharp and straight with excellent geometry. At the regular price this sword is great, but at the scratch and dent price it is a must buy.

Very nice! Sharp and straight, nice amount of flex. About 53 Rockwell on the shop tester. I will buy another Ronin sword!
