Good value
There are a few small pits on the blade, like 1-2mm. Other than that, this is a beautiful blade. This is my second scratch and dent purchase. I have had decent luck so far. If you are just getting into swords, I would highly advise picking up an s&d sword to see how you like it. Good value.

Ronin Katana European 2
Love this blade. Bought scratch and dent sale saving ton of money and had to search to find any damage. Was able to find some dark scuffs at the hilt that I’m not worried about at all. Balance is perfect and the weight is spot on. Could not be happier with this purchase and will buy many more in the future. Btw I reached out with a few questions and was blown away by customer service when they both called and texted to help as best they could. Solid five star experience all around. Fast shipping, excellent presentation and a deal almost too good to be true. But a sword it’s a need not a want.

Great deal for minor to no issues
If this Is the sword you're wanting, then I highly recommend you get it from the scratch and dent. The only issues I could find is what appears to be a smudge of epoxy or glue on the handle and guard. It's very minor though, and makes it feel more like "my sword".

Got a flawless sword with a bad scabbard.
One of the best swords I own, got it during last year's sale. Was completely free of issues itself, but the scabbard is effectively a loss. The leather towards the bottom is rumpled, and sword has about half an inch of blade stick stick out at the top. If pushed in, it is impossible to remove even pulling from one end while pushing with your feet on the cross-guard; I had to freeze it get it out! The sword is good enough however that for the price It was still absolutely worth it. Great for tall dudes, incredibly durable.

Scratch&Dent Euro #2
Nice sword. One little speck of rust and a loose crossguard; easily fixed. For a one hundred dollar discount I will take it any day. The only thing I can knock Ronin Katana's swords for is the seam on the grip of the Euro models. Gotta fix that on newer iterations.

scratch and dent long sword
This is my third scratch and dent sword and there was one tiny blemish on the blade that buffed out very easily. Everything else was perfect. I can't wait for next year's sale.

Scratch and Dent Two Handed Longsword #2
What a great value. The sword feels great in the hands and the only blemish that I found, I'm no pro yet, seems to be a slight shaping error while sharpening the tip. Other than that, I'm perfectly happy with my purchase. I purchased a Dojo Pro Katana several years ago that I love, as well. I'll be buying many more swords in the future. Thanks!

SCRATCH AND DENT TWO HANDED MEDIEVAL LONGSWORD MODEL #2
Like every time I buy one of these scratch and dent models, it took a few minutes to find the QA issue that cause it to go on sale. The sword is light, sturdy, exactly what I needed.

SCRATCH AND DENT TWO HANDED MEDIEVAL LONGSWORD MODEL #2
Thoroughly pleased with my purchase, especially for this price range. This longsword is a little point heavy, though not outrageously so. It still handles well; it just takes some getting used to. It performs reasonably well in the limited cutting I've had a chance to put it through. The scabbard is basic, but well executed. It serves its purpose well. The fit and finish of the sword is impressive, especially considering this was purchased under a scratch-and dent sale. I find no overt flaw: so far there is an almost unnoticeable wave to the profile and a mild distortion of the pommel at the peen. The only complaint I would have is that the machining on the guard and pommel is a little too crisp, resulting in "sharp" edges that can scrape uncomfortably at a shifting barehanded grip. A few minutes of careful filing softened that up sufficiently. I would definitely purchase from Ronin Katana again.
