    Vrery nice

I purchased two of these #2 tantos as they were on sale ,and I'm pretty impressed. On the negative side there are a few small rub marks on the sheath and I wouldn't have minded a little finer polish on the blade. On the positive end. It looks great ,I love the balance ,it's well put together and it's pretty sharp. Paper cutting sharp anyway. It's a great gift for someone you like. I should have bought more.

    Tanto Number 2

Posted by Steve "Bookie" Bookout on Dec 11th 2017

The tanto #2 is well made and with the POB at 1/2 inch ahead of the tsuba, it feels very nimble in your hand. In fact, it just comes to life in a heart beat. Its tsuba & seppa are well seated and no wobble is found at all. The furniture and ito are very tightly mounted to the tsuka. The tsunami decorations are simple, clean, and well executed. The blade has no manufacturing marks or grind wheel scars to observe and has no tendency to fall out of the saya when held upside down. This would make an outstanding close combat blade as well as being a show piece in your collection. Good value for the money tendered.
